What is litrgy.com?

litrgy.com it's a site with liturgical readings. Everyday in church during the Liturgy of Word there are two or three readings and a Responsorial Psalm. This site provides a way to read these texts.

And what about the notes?

Maybe when you were reading, some sentence or paragraph (sometimes just one word!) hit you. Maybe you referred it to your own life or you noticed something that you had never seen before. litrgy.com makes possible to comment any fragment of each reading. If you want to comment, you have to:

  1. Register and login. Don't worry - registration is very simple.
  2. Mark the fragment that you want to comment with the mouse.
  3. Click on the pen that will appear in the top right corner of the screen.Pen
  4. Enter the note and choose the color for highlighting the preferred fragment.

That's all. You can now browse the added notes in the page notes or in the margin of the commented reading.

Public notes?

When you have already added some note, you probably have seen the checkbox called Public note and you are wondering now, what the checkbox is for. So, litrgy.com is not only a combination of site with readings and personal diary. The site also provides a way to share your considerations with the other people. After checking the Public note option, your comment will be available to everyone, who click the Show public notes link on the site with readings. It's a great responsibility, so write carefully. On the other side - don't be scared - just share your thoughts!
